The 33cm square cover cleared a standard dinner plate and kept flies away during lunch. White mesh remained easy to see through, so nobody had to lift it to identify the food.

I covered a tray of cooling slices without trapping as much heat as a solid dome. Fine mesh blocked insects while the open weave allowed steam to escape.

Packed flat, it takes almost no room among the plates. We use it whenever the caravan door is open, and the food remains visible through the netting.

Rather than covering the whole table, this fits one main platter neatly. The square footprint works especially well over rectangular trays where round covers waste space.

A gentle pull expanded the frame in seconds before guests arrived. Once finished, it collapsed flat enough to slide beside trays in the picnic cupboard.
