Our salad bowl fitted under the 37cm square cover and stayed clear of flies between servings. Everyone could see the dish without lifting the netting to check.

Before lunch, I set the net over a plate of sandwiches. The 37 by 37cm footprint gave useful coverage without hiding half the table.

A rectangular plate sat comfortably under the white mesh with space around its edges. Air could circulate while insects stayed off the food.

Packed flat among our picnic items, this was easy to take out when the door stayed open. Fine mesh protected our snacks while we prepared drinks.

After the barbecue, I closed the umbrella frame and slid the cover beside our serving trays. It takes less room than the hard plastic dome we used before.
