At 40 centimetres, the cover protected a useful platter during lunch. Afterwards it collapsed for storage beside our serving trays.

Outdoors, the bamboo frame kept the mesh above the food while guests could still see what was available. Flies stayed off the serving bowl outdoors.

Recently, we set the cover across a basket during brunch on the patio. It lifted easily when someone wanted another piece.

Instead of wrapping dishes repeatedly, we placed the food cover over shared plates between servings. The foldable design takes little cupboard room.

Later that day, the bamboo looked warmer than a plastic food dome and matched our wooden boards. Fine mesh kept insects away from sliced fruit.
